Mobile 3D profile measuring system

The HighDefinitionProfiler is a mobile, laser-based 3D profile measuring system that makes it possible to measure the tread depths and tread wear of vehicle-mounted wheels automatically and without contact.

The HDP allows profile measurement on individual tires. Following the tread measurement, the TireScan evaluation software analyzes the recorded tread, automatically indicates any irregularities in the tire tread and then issues a meaningful service recommendation. The data acquisition can be done for a single wheel or for an entire project in the form of a complete vehicle.

Furthermore, the extension “TireScanMobile” allows detailed images to be taken of the individual wheel/tire combinations and tire information to be recorded.
In addition, it is possible to digitally record and document further condition characteristics of wheels and tires, such as existing damage to the tire sidewall. This ensures convenient and variable documentation of the vehicle tires to be recorded.

Finally, the information obtained is graphically presented in the form of a PDF protocol and clearly understandable for everyone. The TireScan evaluation software uses the familiar “red – yellow – green” color gradation. The limit values of the relevant gradation can be freely defined by the user of the SingleTireScanner.

In addition to the possibility of saving the acquired measurement data locally on a connected computer system, the adaptable interface of the TireScan software allows the measurement data to be forwarded automatically to an existing tire management system at the end of each measurement process.
